From musical mornings to outdoor adventures, here are 7 moments that brought us together — and reminded us why community is at the heart of what we do.
🎶 1. Sing-Alongs with the Davenport Sisters
Music filled the halls this week as we welcomed back the delightful Davenport sisters for another uplifting sing-along session. Their music brings smiles, sparks memories, and helps build bonds between residents.
🎂 2. Celebrating Birthdays in Style
We love to mark life’s milestones. Birthdays are always a special event here, with cake, singing and plenty of hugs — reminding every resident that they are seen, valued, and celebrated.
🍰 3. Easter Cake Crafting Fun
Our Easter preparations are in full swing, and this week we got hands-on in the kitchen. Residents made (and sampled!) their own Easter cakes — a sweet and simple way to enjoy shared activity.
🎨 4. Watercolour Painting in the Sunshine
With the spring weather arriving, we took our creativity outdoors. Residents enjoyed peaceful painting sessions, soaking up the sun while expressing themselves through watercolour.
🎸 5. Guitar Lessons with Andy
Our friend Andy returned with his guitar in hand, offering fun and informal music sessions for residents curious to strum a few chords — or just sit back and enjoy.
🎥 6. Afternoon Film & Fellowship
We ended one afternoon with a cosy movie matinee — the perfect way to relax, reflect and enjoy time together. Popcorn, warm drinks and classic films are always a hit.
🌞 7. Time Outdoors
Whether it was a gentle walk or just sitting together in the sunshine, spending time outdoors this week lifted everyone’s spirits and gave us the chance to connect with nature.
